Here at Alorica El Paso West, we’ve got a bit of a confusing name situation. Our site used to be managed by West Corporation, and so when people hear ‘El Paso West’, they don’t necessarily think of Alorica. Well, we’re here today to shout loud and proud that we are Alorica through and through – and just a little to the left of our sister site, El Paso East.
Working at El Paso West means embarking on a career path – not simply a job. With hundreds of skilled agents and an experienced leadership team, our site excels in delivering exceptional customer service and sales support to the clients we proudly represent.
Through the AloriCares initiative – a program committed to hiring veterans and military spouses – our team is deeply integrated into the community. Fort Bliss is located within El Paso, and given that 10% of the city’s entire workforce is comprised of individuals affiliated with the armed forces, this program is very important to us.
Alorica El Paso West also offers a host of employee benefits, including referral programs, bonuses, birthday and anniversary celebrations and employee-of-the-month recognition. But perhaps the greatest part of working with our team is the opportunity to support those who need our help the most.
Through Making Lives Better with Alorica, the nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to providing assistance to Alorica employees, their families, and the people, organizations and communities who support them, we raised nearly $4,000 in the month of June for colleagues struggling with some of life’s toughest challenges. One of our team members had this to say about MLBA:
“I recently fell behind on expenses due to an unexpected medical leave. I mentioned my situation to a co-worker who told me about Making Lives Better with Alorica. I applied and thankfully received financial assistance; MLBA truly helped me get back on my feet, and I cannot say thank you enough to the program and its contributors.”
Our MLBA chapter works closely with El Paso Cops Helping Kids, a local non-profit that assists disadvantaged youths. To date, we’ve partnered with the organization for the Back to School Supply Drive, Thanksgiving food donation efforts and Holiday gift giving – and we’re preparing to work alongside the El Paso East site to support a local veterans group as well.
“People helping people – it’s just what we do,” says site director Rene Paiz. “It’s a principle our team embraces every day, whether by helping a customer resolve a problem, or by volunteering in our great city.”
